Solomons has one of the last remaining screwpile lighthouses on the Chesapeake: The Drum Point Lighthouse at the Calvert Marine Museum. CMM also provide cruises on the oyster buy-boat William B. Tennison and the skipjack Dee of St. Mary’s. Both restored vessels are iconic treasures that remind us of the once vast oyster trade that plied these waters.
